Tony has been playing the piano since the age of eight. He studied at Wells Cathedral School under Michael Young and went on to read Music at Kingston University. As a teacher he has a thriving private practice with a broad cross section of pupils, both children and adults, teaching Piano and Music Theory. He also works with Ashley Music School and Music for Life, teaching in schools across Cheshire. At the piano Tony has now established himself as an experienced soloist and accompanist and often performs with other soloists, choirs and orchestras throughout the region. His most recent collaborations being with the flautist Russell Gillespie, mezzo Judith Tinston and soprano Gemma Robertson. He is a regular performer at the Lunch Time Recital series held at St Mary's Parish Church in his home town of Nantwich.
